“Mardin Artuklu University which is established in Mardin, one of the oldest settlements in Mesopotamia, is one of the young and developing universities of Turkey. As of the academic year of 2015-2016, the university is carrying out its education, research and implementation activities with 6 faculties, 4 colleges, 6 vocational schools, 3 institutes, 1 state conservatory and 11 research and application centers. Mardin Artuklu University, which is preparing nearly 8000 students for the future, attracts the attention with its dynamic academic staff and rapid improvement, is moving forward decisively with 420 academicians and 285 administrative staff in order to be one of the important science and research centers.
Mardin Artuklu University, which has started the Central Campus structuring works in 2012 with the purpose of establishing the first ecological campus of Turkey, continues to work with great dedication to complete the central settlement.
Mardin Artuklu University, which has the privilege of including the “Institute of Living Languages in Turkey” in its body is determined to become thematic, language intensive university by establishing new faculties and departments that provide education in different languages.
